This is the door that will take us to the outdoors! Does that make sense? Absolutely not, but definitely yes. Haha. Welcome to our RV! The 2009 Monaco Camelot 38PDQ. My husband and I are just so excited to take our family on a road trip to different campgrounds. We have a few campsites lined up starting from the the ones closest to us, hehe. I will make sure to share each campsite with you all so that if you are interested in going there, you’ll already know all the information! For now, let’s take a look at the inside of this RV that will take us places.

the front area

The driver and passenger area! I just have to say how amazing these chairs feel. They are so comfortable, it’s like sitting on pillows. I love sitting on the passenger seat just watching the road, edit pictures, or even blogging! The chairs can recline and be adjusted to whatever position. It can also be turned around just like this. Super cool, huh? The entrance is right next to the passenger seat as well.

the left side

From first glance, the left side of the RV consists of the couch, kitchen, and shower! I really like the interior colors. It’s bright and cozy.

Let’s talk about this couch. This is not my favorite color at all. Haha, but we have bought a cover for this for the time being. This is just a normal couch by the way, it doesn’t pull out into a bed whatsoever. It does however have a drawer underneath for storage.

Ah, the kitchen. My second favorite area of the RV. I love how it’s so compact but can fit all our needs. I was organizing this area the other day, and I still have so much room left. I don’t really know what else to put here? I rather be a minimalist rather than a hoarder, lol! In total, there are seven cabinets/drawers. The cabinet in the middle there isn’t really for storage, but its to store the “removable countertops”. The microwave doubles as convection oven which is pretty cool. I tried out during our drive home and I was so intrigued!

the right side

This side of the RV consists of the dining area and entertainment center. The table pulls out some more to fit four chairs and there’s actually two chairs stored underneath the bed right now. The chairs are collapsible which is super interesting. I was like, hmm what’s that? CHAIRS?!

These two chaises are pretty comfortable. I love how the footrest can become two extra chairs, haha. The overall design of this RV is meant for two people it seems like, but no fret, we have plans! We are the kind of people who can make things work. Things never have to be perfect, but it can always be modified. Our future plan is to put a daybed here. For now, we have three foam mattresses and sleeping bags that can be rolled up for the kids sleeping area. I’m super excited to try this out on our first camping trip!

The dining area! Okay, I really like how this has counter space. I already know that I’m going to make that area my coffee bar, haha. There are four cabinets here. I just can’t believe how roomy they are. I plan to use these cabinets for extra paper towels and things that need to be stored while we are on the road. Definitely don’t want things falling all over the place.

This is the entertainment area but it will not be used for entertainment besides the TV! These cabinets are going to be our pantry. My husband was at Costco last month and found these cool organization baskets that fit PERFECTLY for the bottom cabinets.

la salle de bain!

I just had to practice my french, okay? Welcome to the bathroom! Actually, it’s the shower room because there is no bathtub. When I first saw this, I immediately loved the oval shape of this. It makes it so much more roomy than a normal “triangle” shape. Kind of like those shower curtain rods that are curved to make it seem like it’s oval. It’s intention is to make your shower feel bigger!

There are two bathroom sinks in the RV. This is the first one and it’s right next to the shower. We can brush our teeth and do all the necessary stuff just in case someone needs the toilet. Nobody will be interrupting anyone! There are two mirror cabinets and two cabinets under the sink.

the WC

When I lived in Indonesia, the restrooms were called WC. It means water closet, lol. It’s so weird. Typically WC’s are just rooms for flushable toilets and/or a sink. Anyway, this has another vanity mirror cabinet which I for real don’t know what to store. All I can think of is just extra towels because I think that would really be handy to have extra towels just in case anything spills. There might be those days to where we would probably go swimming somewhere. Ah, good idea!

This toilet is an electric flushable toilet? 😀 Excuse me, I’m still trying to understand, but there it is! It has small cabinets behind there. I think I should store extra toilet papers there because there’s actually not much room in there. Oh, it will fit a compact toilet brush and holder, I think. The top cabinets aren’t even storage at all. I actually forgot what’s in there.

the bedroom

This room is so cute! The previous owner had a white comforter set in here and I just love how it looked. We knew that we wanted the same. It’s easy to add pops of color as well. These two little throw pillows were actually from our house bedroom. We always end up tossing it on the floor unused LOL. I ended up just putting it in the RV because it will always look cute here, love the design, the size, and love the color next to the white. I also ended up putting a brown faux fur throw blanket on top of the bed and it looks soooo cute!

On the other side of the bed is the TV and tons of drawers! These will be used to store our pajamas and undergarments, haha…. KONMARIE method. So, I forgot take a picture of the closet. It’s right next to the washer/dryer cabinet. There’s so much room in there! I plan to store all our outfits & jackets in there. Zach’s, mine, and the kids.

This bed is actually a sleep number bed. We can adjust the firmness of the bed! I’m a medium firm kind of gal, by the way, how about you? There are over the bed cabinets, too. There are random things that isn’t easily captured by pictures, but no worries! I have a video tour below, too so it’s just like if you were here. There’s also a bunch of stuff I added this week from my HomeGoods Haul.

There it is, friends! This whole thing has just been a blessing to us. It was a long time waiting, but everything was worth it. The color of this RV is so beautiful, too and it is SO PNW. The gray, the olive, and the tan colors are just so perfect. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you on the next one!
