Bonjour! Comment ca va? Oh, how do you do letter accents on here? LOL. Anyway, I want to share literally the eyeshadow palette that is for everyday use. It is so basic in such a splendid way. It’s this Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes palette. It’s inspired by their foundation and concealer, I’m guessing but I honestly forgot how good Too Faced eyeshadow palettes are.

There are three undertones in this palette that will suit EVERYONE. The warm, cool, or neutral toned. I absolutely love how this palette has an even number of mattes and shimmers as well!
The first half of the palettes are of course the lighter eyeshadows and for me the first shade Swan is for my brow bone or to set my eye primer. I honestly just use concealer as primer. The next three mattes: Seashell, Nude, and Petal are so good for transition shades depending on what undertone I prefer for that day. I usually use Warm Rose, and Maple for my crease shades.
The shimmers aren’t all the same, by the way. For example, the Glistening Snow is like a glitter shimmer. This one is ae a little drier than the rest, but I use these mostly for in the middle of lid KAPOW BLING. LOL. I don’t know how to explain it, but after I’m done with all my eye makeup, I take my finger and dab this shade in the middle of my lid for some extra shine. I sometimes also pat it on my inner corner of the eyes for extra bling, too. Since it’s a drier shimmer, I don’t use it by itself, more like a topper. Shimmering Pearl and Sparkling Sand, I use mostly for the first half of my lid. Shimmering Pearl is so nice for the inner corner.
Next, are the deeper shades! I loveeeee the colors they put in here. Sparkling Rum and Rose Gold are such beautiful shades for the lid. Oh my gosh, I don’t even know what to say but they’re just so beautiful. Golden Light is a little too warm for my skin tone, so I usually mix it with the rose gold to tone down the warmth. I am olive toned, so it doesn’t do well with my skin tone by itself.
Cocoa and Truffle are really gorgeous for the outer V of my eyes and lower lash line. Cocoa is cooler toned than truffle. Truffle is neutral toned and I love this color because if it’s warmer than this, it will not look good on me! If I don’t want to think of how to do my eye makeup for the day, I grab this palette. The shimmers Sugared Chestnut and Sparkling Sable makes such an amazing” smokey eye look for the lids. I think all the shimmers are the same besides glistening snow. These can be applied with a flat brush, but I honestly just love it applied with my fingers.
I really like how they included a guide for this born this way palette. It’s nice to just pick a look and start doing my eye makeup. Too faced is great at including all skin colors and skin tones so anyone can use this palette!
What do you think of this Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes palette? That link takes you to ULTA, but Sephora also sells it! This palette would be such a good gift to someone who doesn’t usually wear eyeshadows but want to start. It is super easy and there’s no way anyone can mess up using this palette. The mattes are so buttery that it is so easy to blend. The shimmers are POPPIN’! I use Chikuhodo eye brushes as well as It cosmetics brushes and these brushes really grab the pigment so well! If you want good eyeshadow brushes, visit ULTA for It Brushes For Ulta – they are so good!
