Oh, what fun it is! The time has come for good cheer and Christmas decoration everywhere! Our family love Christmas time and the Spirit it brings. We love celebrating the message of what Christmas is all about, both in the Spirit and in decorations, of course. This year, I went with the more muted colors but as you guessed it, will always have greenery and some red!

Foyer
The foyer area is always my favorite space to start out with. It is a welcoming area and it’s what we and our guests first see! I love having a felt letter board right in the middle at all times with a greeting that is sure to comfort our hearts. All is calm and all is bright!
I really do love the feel and look of the buffalo check style decor. It is simple, but fun in so many ways. I found these at Michael’s & like always, I never know what I’m going for until I get home and decorate.
I’m pleasantly surprised each time and I love how this ended up! I had the small glittery and flocked christmas trees from last year that I found at the Target dollar spot. The white ceramic house and the tree are also from Target, these go by fast so if you see them… grab ’em!
The burlap garland is very versatile as it can be used for both fall and winter. I used this exact same one for Fall decoration in another place, but wow, I am loving how this looks like here. I probably need to add some snowy stuff… but it’s okay, it hasn’t snowed here yet. Ha! I gotta admit though, adding a snowy bear here just makes it even more wintery.

Living Room
There’s a few things here that I added this year… like the Christmas stockings and Christmas tree skirt! I knew I wanted a buffalo check style somewhere in this room. but didn’t know what. Gosh, cyber Monday at Joann’s seriously spoiled me with the discount when I randomly saw this while scrolling endlessly. I love deals and I’m a new buffalo check lover.
I don’t know why it took me so long to finally get matching stockings for our family of five. It used to be really different, like colors and size. It’s just that I knew if I wanted to replace it wholly… it needed to be perfect.
I wanted something minimalistic, but fun, but cute, but big enough for stocking stuffers, but not too big. HAHA. I think you get what I mean now. I found these ones at Target and it’s by Magnolia Hearth & Hand!
I truly LOVE the leather strap loop on these. It gives it color, but not too much that you’ll get tired of looking at it every year. The pattern on these looks like tiny snowflakes to me, SO CUTE! I’m also lucky that they had five of these in stock which usually was my problem finding Christmas stockings.
The stocking holders is also such good quality, my friends. Ugh, it’s simple and small, but OH MY does it have a weight. If you have a tv on your fireplace mantle, this is a really nice choice for your Christmas stocking holders because it will not block the TV!
I moved my little side table from beside the couch and placed it in front of the fireplace. Added this super cute Christmas tree wrapped in burlap and ta-daw! I recently added this snow bear like the one that’s in the foyer and it looks even cuter.
Comfort is the key here in the living room and I wanted a woven basket… and stumbled unto it when I was looking for other stuff. Guess what it had in them? A WHOLE BUNCH OF THROW BLANKETS that I took out and placed it somewhere else. Yeah, mama needed this.
It’s such a perfect place to throw your throw blankets and the kids snuggle blankets.
For the couch, I don’t ever really change anything but add ONE pillow to give it a Christmas feel. Literally one. Found this at Hobby Lobby at 50% off! Did I tell you I LOVE DISCOUNTS?
Does your family do Elf on the Shelf? Haha… we do it every year and the kids love it. I’m still in awe! I randomly just put the book on the couch so the kids can read it whenever.

Dining Table
One of these days, I’ll change the runners and placemats, but that might be in LONG few years. I just love the tan and gray here all year round. Simply use any cloth napkins that’s neutral colored for your plates. Top it off with white and gold snowflake ornaments and it’s literally easy!
For the center pieces, I used this flocked garland leaves from Joann’s. I love my green, but for Christmas… flocked is best to mimic the snow! For the trees, it is also wrapped in burlap but these ones are from Target. I used two small Christmas trees for the ends and a medium Christmas tree for the center! So simple, but festive, yes?

This is the same ceramic house and tiny glitter trees. Behind it is actually our wifi node. Target finds are the best!
Remember our memory wall from my Fall decoration post? This buffalo check stag is perfect. I mean, look at his scarf! I found these at Michael’s as well/ By the way, that wood decor of the snowflakes is from Target dollar spot again. You don’t have to spend a bunch to have festive decor in your home.
Deals and discounts are the best! It looks like they always have these seasonal decorations on sale every year, so you’ll be sure to save. If you’re lucky, you might be able to stack discounts on Michael’s coupon that adds an extra 20% off!

Loft
I won’t get into too much in this room as I am planning on another thorough post on how to create a home library! I do want to share how to easily Christmasify a room, though. The little Christmas tree and a wreath immediately finishes a room!
The little wreath around it is from Michael’s and I just love how this looks. If you don’t want to spend too much to decorate many rooms, just add this. Also to always add pillows and a throw blanket. Can you believe that this throw blanket and the buffalo check pillow is a set? I was like YAS! The buffalo check stag pillow is a separate item, but it really matches with the set!
