Changing Our Light Fixtures

There has been so many changes in our house lately. Specifically speaking… the light fixtures! It all started during Thanksgiving time when we were shopping for Thanksgiving. We usually host so that means lots of preparing. We came across a light fixture from Costco… and then it kept continuing from there because it just looks so nice! I’ll show you that one at the end.

For now, let’s talk about this one in our eating area. We went into Home Depot to look for a dimmer that works with the light fixture from Costco. I’m not sure what’s up with the one that came with the house, but it would not turn off. Anyway… we saw these BEAUTIFUL light fixtures. It’s sooooo me! Farmhouse vibes but also modern.

This one is a 3 Light Chandelier. The wooden shade is on the neutral spectrum that it matched the decor we had going in there!

This next one is the same brand, but it is a 5 light chandelier. This is SUCH an upgrade from what we had. It brightened up the room with a more soft look to it. Not to mention, these clear bulbs add such a flair to it.

If you are wondering what light fixtures we had before, check out the video below! I also show the wall sconces that we picked out for the kitchen.

Remember what I said when it started during Thanksgiving time? Lol! We have hosted thanksgiving for a few years now and the light we had before was so annoyingly big and LOW. The super tall people in our family would hit their heads on it. It was time to change it out.

This one looks way nicer! The candelabra style with the clear glass surrounding it makes it look so romantic haha. Anyway, we have also replaced the light fixtures in the rec room but I have not yet taken photos. I guess that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and I will see you on the next post.
