Michael Todd Beauty Sonicblend

There is something about the makeup process that doesn’t really fulfill my desire to even put makeup on. I am usually very minimal when it comes to makeup 90% of the time. The other ten percent is saved for occasions and that’s when I really take the time and go all out! Day to day for me is the bare necessities that helps me get over my zombie mom look.
I brush on some brow pomade, foundation, mascara, and lip product. On some days when I have more time to spoil my face, I put on some eyeliner. I have to admit though, I am really no expert at putting on foundation. No matter what I do, it just doesn’t sit nicely on my skin and my dry parts are accentuated. That’s one of the reasons why I’ve stopped putting on powder foundation because it is just not pretty, people! I’ve started to enjoy liquid foundation now that I’m older, but I still don’t enjoy the process of putting them on and not quite satisfied how it sits on my trouble areas.

SONICBLEND FEATURES

This week, I was able to try out this Michael Todd Beauty Sonicblend brush and I thought I would blog about the first impressions that I had while trying out this product. I love that it comes with a storage case and that’s a major plus especially for travel. This is also rechargeable and comes with its own USB charging cable. I appreciate the rechargeable feature since I honestly despise batteries. Although, I wish that the storage case had a place for the cable, unless I missed it completely. My very first thought opening this product was how soft the bristles are. It reminds me of the foundation brush that I used before this one called IT Brush For Ulta by IT cosmetics. If you own one of those brushes, then you know the softness I’m talking about. That was a winning point for me because it’s hard for me to replace foundation brushes.

THOUGHTS ON THE FIRST TRYOUT

I was a bit confused how to use the product and how to turn it on at first, haha. Don’t make fun, please, but eventually I found out that there are three different settings. I believe one of them is a pulsing mode that might be good for concealer since I do dab my concealer on. I’ve just been using the normal one that comes when you first turn it on. To turn on the brush, just simply hold the on button for a couple seconds. I use one pump of foundation and apply them on my face with my fingers first before I turn on the brush. I was so impressed at the ease of using it. I let the bristles lightly brush my face and I’m so amazed at the results. I always look towards an enhanced, but natural finish whenever I put my make up on. I ended up using less product because it was so nicely applied on my skin.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I think it’s a great product to have for liquid foundation. I love that it’s making me love putting foundation on more and more. It’s kind of fun and satisfying to feel the brush vibrating on my face hahaha! I do think that they should make a smaller one for concealer as I think it’s too big for those areas and also more prints! There was one that I wanted so bad, but it wasn’t available. Oh well, can’t go wrong with black – matches everything. I’m so happy to finally have this beauty tool in my routine now. Now I look forward to putting on my foundation just to see the skin finish result i get! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and joining in my first impressions with me. Love ya!

One of the reasons I don’t wear makeup is how time consuming it is. After this review I will definitely reconsider! Thank you for sharing!

It’s definitely time consuming! But it’s easier now that my kids are older!
