Simplifying Motherhood A Little At A Time

SIMPLIFY MOTHERHOOD WITH A FAST MEAL FOR THOSE BUSY DAYS. THANKS TO TAIPEI  & I-C FOR SPONSORING THIS POST!

As a mother of three children and running a business out of my home, some days can just simply be chaotic. I have what seems like a simple routine everyday. Simple, yet complicated because time seems to move even faster than I expect it to. I am a mama of many jobs: a chauffeur, cleaning lady, business woman, and lastly, a cook. My youngest has half day school so I have about two and a half hours in between not including driving time. After dropping off the kids at school, I turn the dial from chauffeur to work at home mom and get right to work. I enjoy being able to work from home and even though it can be stressful at times, I make sure to put aside a little time to take care of myself when it’s time for a break. I am not the type to spend thirty minutes or so to prepare my lunch because when it’s time for my break, I prefer the fast route without sacrificing what I’m actually craving. I love and prefer Asian Food most of the time and I am so thankful that I can have a quick yet tasty meal without any effort. Taipei single serve meals are such an easy way to quickly grab my meal and eat right there and then. I grab my iPad, put on my favorite Netflix show, and enjoy my lunch time before transforming to a chauffeur once again!

I keep my Taipei single serve meals on my top freezer drawer for easy reach. The packaging is so simple and all you have to do is remove the plastic cover on the cap, then heat in the microwave. Depending on the meals you choose, it should be around three to four minutes. There are so many delicious entrees to choose from to satisfy your palate or cravings, but the ones I’ve tried are the Shrimp Fried Rice, Combination Fried Rice, Chicken chow mein, and General Tso’s Spicy Chicken. My top favorite is the chicken chow mein, it is so flavorful and if you’re a noodle lover, this might be your top favorite, too! Such great choices to spruce up my normally boring meals during lunch. My other favorite is of course one of the Frozen Fried Rice entrees like the combination fried rice. Every bite is so satisfying because oyster sauce flavored rice? YUM!

They’re made from real ingredients which as a mama, I really appreciate because sometimes when I don’t get a chance to eat lunch before I pick up my daughter, I wait until afterwards. I share my lunch with her during days like these and it’s nice to be able to give her the one on one time that is so hard to do nowadays! One of the reasons why I love having quick and easy to prepare lunches is that I already spend so much time with dinner. It is nearly impossible to prepare various course meals for lunch and dinner while finding proper time to spend with our kids without feeling exhausted. After all, they’re only young for a short time!

As moms, our everyday lives are always eventful and mostly every hour is filled with tasks to take care of our family. It can feel overwhelming at times especially when it’s time for lunch or dinner. I find myself losing track of time sometimes and scrambling to put something together. Moms, we can all agree that we would rather skip that frantic feeling! Years into motherhood, I find peace and solace in ready to serve freezer foods for a quick lunch that I need! I’m also glad that Taipei is so easy to find because I found my Tai Pei single serve entrees from my local grocery store. They’re located in the frozen food section and you can use the store locator to find your ready to heat Asian Food! You can also enter the sweepstakes below. Contest ends on Monday, March 5th 2018 and winner will win one $100 Walmart giftcard or if you’re super lucky, $500 in Walmart giftcards! Time to stock up on some Taipei to simplify motherhood a little a time! I-C will randomly select 13 winners from all program entries and will facilitate fulfillment of the winning prizes.

As a mama to 4, I love the idea of quickly, yummy meals on a dime. Sounds like these could be good base meals too that you could add to to feed more than one.

I’ll have to check out their vegetarian options. These would be perfect for all our busy nights when the kids are rushing to get to swim team on time!

This makes so total sense. I hate to spend time on cooking because I feel it takes away from the quality time with my son. If there was something healthy and yummy and quick to make like this, I would use it everyday.
