Playground Discovery: Frontier Park In Washington

One of the things I love doing with my littlest is to find new playgrounds to visit. This is my last year before she heads to full day kindergarten so what better way than to explore! These moments go by so quickly that sometimes we forget to just take the time to cherish them. If you are in the area and looking for fun and free places that your children can enjoy, this playground at Frontier Park located near South Puyallup, WA is not one to miss. Read more to see the play structure!

Look at her excitement to experience this large play structure! My first thoughts was wow, this is huge. It’s pretty unique as well that they can enter this through that little bridge. She was so ready to go and tried her best to try out each challenge and oh boy, some of them was a challenge! I believe that there are about three slides plus that little tunnel one behind her. Check out the rest of the pictures to see more!

This is a bit too challenging for shorties like Mimi, but I can imagine it would be awesome for older kids!

She was excited for this one and she believed she could and climbed up so fast… halfway, then got stuck and couldn’t move. Mama to the rescue!

This climbing structure is awesome and it’s definitely fun. I want to say she had the wrong shoes on and again got stuck but luckily she just jumped off and didn’t need help from me!

There are about four normal swings and two swings directed towards preschoolers and younger for safety cautions. Although, I’m more than convinced she wanted this specific swing so Kiki can ride along.

We stayed here for a couple of hours and we also took a little walk around the area. Separate from the playground, there is a large grassy area with benches. Overall, this is a nice place to enjoy the morning with your little ones. It does get pretty crowded closer to noon, so I suggest visiting in the morning around nine or so. This place is also great for walking dogs or to do your morning run, and also people even bring their horses here! By the way, I always see lots of fun events that are hosted here as well. I can’t wait to attend one of them. Find more information here such as address, history, additional facilities, and more. Thanks for visiting and until next time!

Hiiii! Is this a wheelchair accessible playground? It looks like it! When we were in Oklahoma, all the playgrounds we went to were wheelchair accessible, which made it look so huge and cool and easier to run around and follow your kids, too, LOL. It made me wonder why I never really saw any wheelchair accessible playgrounds in WA. I probably didn’t explore playgrounds much here but I wonder if there are more like this?!!!

This park looks like it has something for all the kiddos. I love the climbing wall. My son is starting to love all the climbing features at parks.

I love finding new playgrounds with my kids. We spent one summer checking out the “best” playground of each city in our area. We even drove to the best playground of the state!

The park is the best during fall summer because its free lol it can get expensive during summer months when kids are out of school trying to do dif activities but can never go wrong with a park trip….There is a zoo in DC thats free but you have to pay for parking
