New Year, New Mom, Start With Confidence

I don’t mean for first time moms! It is for moms who have been mom-guilting, being way too hard on themselves or for moms who have been receiving judgement and backlash for the way they do parenting, or moms who are overworked and need a reminder to slow down and enjoy herself. I’m inviting you over to our TSM community because let’s just be honest, that forum is amazing and SO helpful. It’s a place where we lift each other up in spirit and a trust worthy environment to share mom products and mom troubles! New year 2017, you all can start fresh with a lightweight heart! Away with the Mom guilt, ON with the confidence!

Thanks for awesome giveaway! I was born in Lithuania and haven’t been back to visit for 8 years now with having 2 kids I’m afraid to take the flight but I keep saying each year I will go because I have grandparents that are old and my fear is someone in my family will pass without me getting to say goodbye. In 2016 my great grandma passed so I’m trying to leave that fear and buying a ticket for summer and taking my family back home to visit my loved ones ๐Ÿ™‚

I plan to try and leave my
Unrealistic expectations in 2016. I’m pregnant with baby #3 and I’m just giving myself more grace and understanding when things don’t always get done when I want them to. It’s ok and I’m still a good mom even if it takes all day to feel well enough to get the dishes done!

Such a great giveaway. I am a stay at home mom and I’ve been scared to go back to work. I fear failure, so with that being said I leave that fear of failure behind me this year. I just applied for a job and I’m going back to school with full confidence. I hope when my son gets older he sees the courage I built and gets inspired to do better.

I’m letting go of my fear of things not being perfect. Spending all the time and energy trying to make things (and people) the way they’re “supposed to be” is robbing me and and my family of enjoying life and the messiness of the everyday. Cause in the messiness is where the living happens.

I let go my fear of not being a good enough mother. For m first full year as a mom and a single mom i was always afraid i wasn’t good enough for my son. That i wasn’t giving him the life he deserved with it just being me but in 2017 I’m learning to realize that I am good enough and I give him all the love and everything he could want and more and that’s enough.

The fear I’ve left behind for 2016 is the fear of missing out on everything my kids are doing. Just had my third and I felt like I was being pulled in so many different directions. Realizing that I am enough and that my kids will always love me unconditionally really has helped me to let go of any fear concerning my little loves. Thank you for this amazing opportunity! I’m letting go of the fear of letting people walk all over me. I’m standing up for myself. This past year I let people tell me what to do and how to do things for my children. And I’m tired of getting told that’s not how to do it. This year I do my way or the high way. I love my children and I’ll do anything to see them happy. Thanks for the chance.

Hi this is such a great and would be a dream giveaway!! The fear I have let go in 2017 will be being a mom to my 4 kids without worrying about judgement from others. Being an attachment parent and those who are not, we all love and nurture our kids in different styles. We are all doing our best and raising them to be future responsible adults. I commend and cheer on all parents being there for their kids.

The fear I am going to leave behind in 2016 is my fear of being unhealthy and not being around for my amazing son! My family has a history of heart failure and I have made it my goal, my mission, to be healthy for my son. I’m finally getting my gym membership, eating right and showing him that anything is possible with hard work and determination!

    Hey Livi,
Such an inspirational idea! The fear that I let go of from last year is my insecurities of not being able to do all I have before I had my last baby. I gave birth to a little girl in August of 2015 but it did not come without it’s complications. I have had a “incompetent cervix” which left me in the hospital bed bound for a month and a half. With that I had many insecurities blaming myself for something that was completely out of my control. I was told all the horrible stories of having a premie due to my condition, and all the confidence I had (she was not my first) went out the window. I had a lot of my family ask me what did I do to make that happen, so support wasnโ€™t necessarily there. Since then I gave birth to a beautiful full term baby girl despite the negativity around me. Even though my daughter prospered, I still doubt myself as a mom. I wanted to go back to school, but again the support was slim, and I was failing and contemplated giving up. I took one look at my girls and realized that despite the negative feedback from those who are supposed to support me, I have two wonderful girls. One who is fourteen and making straight Aโ€™s, is part of the track and student government teams, and is an avid dancer. The other is seventeen months, she is a miracle baby who made it to 38 weeks of pregnancy, when I was told that there was no way she would have made it to 28 weeks. She surpassed all the odds that were against her, and now she is my little climber! Looking at these gorgeous girls makes me realize that I did it all. I took care of them with little (my fiancรฉ works full time), to no help. Forget what everyone else thinks or has to say about me, I am a great mom, and I will continue school and get my masterโ€™s in psychology. No more negativity and self-doubt. 2017 is the year of prosperity, and the year I take back my confidence, and assert my positivity where negativity once took hold!
Wow that was invigorating, Thanks for letting me share
