It’s almost Halloween! This year, we’ve got a lot of Halloween decor… in our laundry room! It might seem a bit random, but I assure you…. it’s so fun AND it’s become an efficient way to do laundry. Keep on reading at what I’ve got for you this Halloween season to make the laundry CHORE actually fun. I mean, I LOVE going into this room and doing laundry, haha!
First off, we’ve got the washing station! Before I get into the actual decoration, I want to encourage EVERYONE who has front loader washer and dryer to add a table top of your machines. This definitely protects your machine, but it allows you to decorate as you wish without worrying anything is going to fall off!
On the left side of this area, I’ve got the laundry detergent in that glass pitcher right there. I dropped my laundry detergent bottle and it broke haha… yeah, clumsy me. Anyway, I poured what was left into this pitcher and added decals of bats to add some Halloween status. It’s super easy and it also comes off really easily, too. I got these decals from etsy and it comes with a lot of bat decals and one huge moon!
In the middle, I’ve got a cute ghost holding a boo sign from Target hyde & eek boutique in this Hearth & Hand black basket. Love how sturdy this basket is and how it has handles on the side for easy transport. I stored jars filled with baking soda and oxyclean powder in here for extra care for our clothes! In front of the basket are little towels in case anything spills. I already know this can happen, haha!
Now let’s look at the drying station – This part is so much fun especially for the kids. It makes them want to help! I found these black pumpkin container at target and I thought this was perfect for fabric sheets.
In the Halloween pumpkin basket, I’ve got mini pumpkins decor AND wool dryer balls. Trick or treat, which are you going to get? Lol! Wool dryer balls are AMAZING and cuts drying time for sure especially for those towels and blankets.
If you’re like me, laundry day can last FOREVER and can last even into the night. I don’t know why sometimes I wait so long to do laundry, but hey, I’ve got three kids! We can get busy, haha. These lit up pumpkins are aweeeeeesomeeeee. I didn’t know it lit up when I bought it but oh my, what a nice suprise. It definitely acts like a night light!
We have a sink in our laundry room so this room is definitely the cleaning room. I store a lot of cleaning products in those cabinets, but adding this three tier cart is even better. It’s out and everything I need is easy to reach while adding much more organization.
The sink is right next to this, so adding these wooden things around our machines is a plus. I was able to add this Project 62 hook on the side of it which was perfect to add a small towel just in case we needed it!
In the cart, I’ve stored larger towels, another jar of baking soda closer to the sink, and scrubbers as well as our bunny’s grooming items. I found this Spooky pumpkin at Home Goods and these gloves added THE perfect spooky flair. Watch out for the SPooOoooOky hands!
No really, watch out for them. LOL! So creepy and funny. I’m not the only who’s having fun around here. Haha! I hope you found these ideas fun and helpful to help you decorate for Halloween or Fall. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I’ll see you on the next one!
