Behind The Pieces

Mornings after I drop off the children at school is the time during my day when I take a little time just for me. Sometimes I even wait until this time to even have my coffee. I do various tasks during this time also like review my planner, but most of the time, I take it slowly. Everything doesn’t have to be fast paced all the time. It’s okay to just take a long moment sometimes and really enjoy my morning coffee. When this happens, I also do a lot of thinking. It doesn’t have to be such a deep thought process, but it’s things like reminiscing about sweet or funny moments with my family. Truly just thinking of how thankful and blessed I am to have a healthy family. Naturally, when I start thinking, it does make me think of why I am the way I am, or why I chose the things I choose. I don’t own many jewelry, but the pieces I own have personal meanings to them and that’s exactly the reason why I wear them over and over. It reminds me of the blessings in my life!

It’s no surprise that I love rose gold, but I also especialy love my birth stone. This one is so special because of a couple reasons. It has three garnet stones to represent each of my children. Another feature that is pretty amazing is that it is a Color Shift Garnet. If I may be honest, I don’t exactly like the actual garnet color as it can be a bit too dark for my taste. This one though, it is such a beautiful rose hue that can deepen depending on the day! Speaking of rose gold, my second piece of my rings is this gorgeous Moissanite Fire. I love, love this design because it reminds me of my ten year vow renewal in Hawaii. Hawaii is a place of my kind of simplicity, the sight and smell of flowers is just uplifting. The place holds a special place in my heart, and thats why I love this piece. The simple thin band with the statement flower design is made beautifully.

Let’s be clear, I always wear my wedding ring. I mean, if I may be honest, can you take yours off? Ha! All kidding aside, this last piece I want to share with you has extremely special reasons. I might also be stepping in the cliche zone here, but I warned you! This ring shares the story of my husband and I. I don’t even know how it started, but we ask each other the same question our whole marriage. “How much do you love me?” and the answer always ends with, “infinity times infinity plus one.” Okay, sometimes we try to compete with each other and I end up saying that exact phrase, but I think you get the idea! I feel like infinity is another word for love. There is just no way that love ends. It just keeps on going and that’s another reason why this specific Lovemore Infinity Ring bears so closely to my heart. It’s probably why it pairs so well with my wedding rings, it’s the story of my husband and I!

Now tell me, do you ever catch yourself just staying still and reminisce? How much more peaceful can this time be? This is why sometimes I like waiting until the kids are off to school to have my coffee. I’ve learned to really love myself without all the mom guilt and that means giving me proper time to have me time… you know, with my coffee. I’ve noticed I haven’t skipped a coffee cup in years. I want to declare that this is absolutely my obvious routine. If you love the reasons behind the pieces, check out the rings at JTV and don’t forget to use “JTVFREE” for free shipping!
