Canvas Photograph For Wall Decor

CREATE YOUR OWN CANVAS PHOTOGRAPHS AS A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO WALL DECORATING. THANKS TO PHOTOGRAPHY.COM FOR SPONSORING THIS POST!

Home decorating is one of my passions as a mama, there is something about this specific activity that just makes me so happy! There’s a joyful feeling it gives when I decorate a room to create a signature that speaks our family. My husband and I both love taking photos especially for our family Christmas pictures that we take each year. This past Christmas family picture, it meant more sentimentally because it was our first Christmas picture in our new house! We are not quite finished with decorating and there is a large bare wall in our living room that we have been waiting to decorate, but wasn’t sure how exactly. With all things, not just with home decorating, it takes time to fulfill a vision! Since we truly loved how our Christmas pictures turned out, what better way than to turn it into canvas wall decor?

The canvas pictures I have here are sized 16×20 and having three of them in a vertical order fits so well. These are large enough to be visible from a farther distance which I LOVE! I think canvas pictures are a beautiful touch to any home decor. I have tons in probably every room I have in this house, but these are the first time that we turned our family pictures into them. I chose one picture of my husband and I, a picture of all three of our kids, and last but not least… a picture of our family together!

I love how it turned out, the quality is very high definition… true to the original picture quality that we took. I think with any photo that is planned to be enlarged, a 300 dpi resolution is a must! There is also an option of standard or thick in the wooden frame. Mine are the standard size and like most canvas, it is wrapped around the frame. Another thing I love about this is that it comes ready to hang which is a major plus!

This wall is definitely not quite finished yet as I am planning to find more decorations to go along side of them, but I’m so happy that this wall is not empty anymore! As a proud mama bear, the initial thoughts in my head are always my family and how this house can stay true to who we are. We are a family of love and I want to share that love is everywhere. Whether it’s through our words and actions, or through simple pictures that can speak volumes. Instilling wall decors in our home that emits a light of love whenever you look towards it, also helps me and hopefully my family as well through any difficult times that can happen in life. We can take a simple glance to remind us that through any and all things, love will always live here. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and until next time!

These are beautiful! Right now we use picture frames, but I do love the Canvas look, maybe we’ll have to redo them at some point.

My walls are totally bare but I want to decorate with family pictures. I love going to people’s houses and seeing history on the walls.

I used to love spending time on home decor too. But then baby came along and the house is a mess. But this seems like such a quick and easy idea to pick up the house walls. Your pics turned out so lovely.
