As a child, I didn’t really have too many chances to go on family trips and I think this is why I have certainly made this a goal in my own family life. Whether it’s a short trip during the weekend or a week long road trip, I cherish each moment because time really does move quickly and before I will know it… my children will be teenagers or moving out of our home! Yikes, let’s not…

We started Summer break early this year by starting off our first camping trip at the KOA Holiday in Cascade Locks, Oregon. Oregon is like a second home to us since we used to live nearby so this area is one of our favorite places to visit. There’s something about camping that rejuvenates us and gives us a fresh break from the daily life of work and school. Just being outside and enjoying time with the family…

What a wonderful time it is when we vacation with our children. It’s joy, its wonder, and it’s magic! On our second Disneyland visit, we hopped on over to California Adventure to have a what seemed to be a more relaxed Disney visit. Speaking of visits, we found Mickey! Since we were super prepared with our Autograph books, the kids was able to receive a few autographs from their favorite Disney characters! I have to say though,…

During our Spring break trip… you know, between all the Disneyland hopping, Legoland exploring, and all the sightseeing, we were able to visit the beach at least once. Okay, so it WASN’T swimsuit and tanning friendly type of beach day but we totally made the most of it. Luckily, there was a playground for our kiddos to enjoy. Ahh…. Spring break! The time when time and worries no longer applies. Sunshine and exploring with the family is everything I could ask for after a long hiatus of sun in the Washington state. Something about California just makes my heart so happy! Our first stop in our spring break was San Fransisco and of course we would have to visit the Golden Gate Bride! We see this iconic bridge in tv shows and movies, and I…

I am a full house fan to the max. I watched that show like my life depended on it. There was no way that we could visit San Fransisco without visiting the Painted Ladies. The intro of the full house is such a fun and engaging introduction to their fun sitcom. The ending of the introduction ended in this Alamo park right here where I am sitting… and to the back of the Tanner family was these…

One of the perks of having a travel trailer or an RV is that you can skip the hotels and its cost! This was something I didn’t realize when we got our travel trailer. I love having our home away from home and it definitely feels like HOME in different places. Our first stay of our Spring Break 2017 was near San Fransisco at Petaluma KOA. We didn’t get to do much in this KOA because we…

This post includes affiliate links My family and I visited Leavenworth to attend one of their Lighting festival a couple weeks ago. I’ve always been intrigued by this area, mostly because my parents come here every year during Christmas time a few years after I got married. The drive was about three hours from where we lived, and of course it was snowing the closer we got to Leavenworth. It was such a beautiful drive up there,…
