Kanga Care Lil Learnerz

Picture

This post is in partnership with The Sensible Mama. Product was chosen by me and given to me at no cost in exchange for my honest review and overall thoughts.
Kanga Care is notorious for having the best cloth diapers in the cutest prints! I’ve used the fuzzibunz, blueberry, and rumparooz when my kids were babies. Now that my youngest is going through the potty training stage, I’m so glad we are presented with the opportunity to test drive this Lil Learnerz training pants in partnership with The Sensible Mama.

Our family loves everything Tokidoki, so of course I was even more glad about the toki bambino print. It’s so cute! The fun thing about having a cute print underwear is that it encourages our little ones to keep it clean, and oh my does it work! I love how Tokidoki always does collaborations with other brands because we love everything kawaii! I have the sizes medium and large to compare and see what fits better for my child.

These training pants are, of course, WATERPROOF! This is so important in the potty training process because they will have tons of acccidents. When my daughter first started, we used gerber, and it did nothing to contain the mess. Another feature that I love most about these underwears is that the lining is incredibly soft. I cannot stress how important that is because my daughters skin is so sensitive! It’s made with layered microfiber and just like the cloth diapers, it will let the child know she is wet WITHOUT being completely drenched. The best part about it is, again, waterproof…. mama needs that! Let’s be honest, we NEED that.
The large size is on the left while the medium is on the right. Mimi is 27 pounds and is extremely short for a three year old! She’s just under 5% percentile… anyone else have a tiny Asian kid? Hehehe! When I tested the underwears on her, I could already tell the sizes run small. If I follow the guide, she would be using the size small and I wouldn’t have questioned it because she is so tiny anyway. Mama’s got a hunch so I didn’t order the small size!

The medium size fits on my daughter SUPER snug. At first I thought wow, this was made just for her because it literally fits her perfect. Depending on your child’s thigh and bottoms size, this could be perfect for your child. My daughter seems to have thicker bottoms so it was a little difficult for her to take it off when she needed to go potty. This could be a problem if she had to go really bad because she would spend too much time trying to take it off.The large size fits my daughter pretty well also. Granted, the thigh area is bigger and is not as snug. It still hugs her waist and thigh area, though, just not as tight as the medium! This is a plus for my daughter because she is able to take this off with NO effort. She actually told me she prefers the bigger one due to ease of use. I prefer to pick the large size if I were to buy more and I REALLY want more tokidoki prints for her. It’s sooooo cute!!! The large also gives more time and room for the child to grow because even if we don’t want to admit it… kids still have accidents. I call these her safe underwears when we’re out and about!

I hope my review and comparisons between the sizes helped in deciding which size to get for your little one! What did you think of the Lil Learnerz? This one is my favorite print in their line!
