Four Must Do’s On Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve, we count down the hours until Christmas morning as we prepare a little snack for Santa. This Christmas, we haven’t forgotten about the reindeers! After all, they need a little fuel as well as they gallop in the air from house to house. The first thing we do is prepare a few cookies and milk for Santa and of course, some carrots for our reindeer friends!

I love personalized items and I know that this little set will be in our family forever. Since I have three children, I had to put their nicknames for the personalized area on the bottom.

The second thing that is important is to never forget to put away the Elf on the shelf since they are to return to Santa! It’s a bittersweet feeling to say goodbye to our favorite Christmas tradition. Even though it’s a little cumbersome to do, but it is so special. See you next year, Sandy!

The third fun must have is to have matching pajamas for all the kids to add a little festive fun before Christmas morning. Not only do they enjoy matching with each other, but it is a plus that when they wake up in the morning to open their presents… they are dressed to impress mommy’s vlog!

I think it’s an automatic bonus that when choldren dress festive and fun, their spirits are also festive and fun. I might not be wrong either to add a factor of hyperness in the mix. Initially I had all elf ears for the kids, but I felt it was a little too much matching. In the end, we had Junior Santa, an Elf, and a Reindeer!

Last but not least, the fourth activity to do on Christmas Eve is to take a Christmas Eve picture! I love the casual feel to the family picture as it shows such genuine excitement for what’s to come. Also, it might not be a bad idea to take a family snapshot to share on social media to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! What are your must do list for Christmas Eve? Thank you so much for visiting me and until next time!

Such a lovely tradition! I normally go to a carol service and have a little buffet with family. My little one is too young to understand Father Christmas at the moment but hopefully will be a bit more magical next year xx

I love the matching outfits as we used to do that! I think I’ll add the Christmas Eve photo since then we’ll have a photo without everyone half awake!

We never remember to take a Christmas Eve photo and it makes me so upset every year.

I love those dishes. We have a santa cookie plate but a mug would be a great addition.
