Elwha RV Campground Resort

After Ocean Shores, we headed up north to Port Angeles! Elwha RV Park was a quick stop on our way to Victoria, Canada but this park was such a pleasant surprise. We knew that we were going to do our laundry in this place since the website said they had laundry facilities but WOW. More on that later! I think there was only one way to get to this place from Ocean Shores and we kind of got stuck on the road for more than thirty minutes. It felt like it was hours though. They had construction and it closed for an hour past the time they said it was going to reopen. It’s kind of nice just to drive along the coast because the view is beautiful and if I may share, we went through Forks, WA and visited Bella’s truck from Twilight!

I have a confession that when I took this picture, I was in the car and quickly took a snapshot hoping it wasn’t blurry! I didn’t even get a chance to read the full sign let alone read the word “Resort” on it.

When we pulled up to the office, my first thought was that the office is so big so I wonder if they actually live here. I never really am the one to sign in at the office, but I imagine it’s pretty smooth because my husband came back out rather quickly.

The first thing I did once the trailer was all set up and everyone ate dinner is to do laundry. Laundry never stops even when you’re on a trip! The bathrooms included showers so if you wanted to shower here, you totally could. I was happy with the cleanliness! You can tell that they LOVE what they do.

When you first walk up to the laundry room, you will see a warning sign that they have security cameras here. So smile, you’re on camera! I think that’s pretty smart considering they can’t watch everything 24/7 in person! Isn’t this laundry room amazing? Oh my gosh, resort for real, haha. I love how they have seating areas with magazines, books, and brochures. I can’t even believe they have a flat screen TV here. As I was waiting for my laundry to finish drying I think there was an elder man who came in here just to watch TV.

They have four sets of washing machines and dryers here. To wash one load costs $2.50 and the washer is pretty small so we had to use two. Fortunately, the dryer was much bigger so all my clothes could fit in one dryer. In total, I spent $7.50 to wash my clothes. Don’t worry, this is how it is everywhere, haha. I think it helps pay for their electricity when you wash and dry your clothes.

Lastly, they have a kitchen area, too! If you want to cook breakfast here or have some coffee, you can. I didn’t do that because I was way too tired to do anything besides laundry, but I love that they have this option. Notice on the right side of the kitchen counter, there is a change machine so if you don’t have coins you can use your dollar bills!  I love how everything was just so neat and it feels so welcoming here. In my experience, Elwha RV Park is at the top of my list right now! Thank you for visiting and until next time!

How fun!! I’ve always wanted to go on an RV trip with my family!! Washington is a bit far from Florida, but that’s definitely in my bucket list!

How fun! I’m adding this to our list of campsites to check out. We camped in Ocean Shores last summer.

That place looks great! That’s so nice that they have a laundry room like that where you can spend time while you’re waiting for laundry to finish.
